台風接近に伴い、参加者および開催関係者の安全を優先し、第34回大会の開催方法を以下のとおり変更します。

6月27日（土）に予定されていたセッションは、6月28日（日）に順延します。

6月28日（日）に予定されていたセッションを含め、全プログラムを6月28日（日）に短縮して開催します。

6月28日（日）は、11:00に開場し、研究報告セッションは12:00に開始します。

各報告は、1報告30分、すなわち、発表15分、討論10分、質疑応答5分として短縮して実施します。

現時点の予報では、6月28日（日）は雨が残る可能性がありますが、台風による直接的な影響は次第に弱まる見込みです。ただし、交通機関への影響が残る可能性がありますので、時間に余裕をもってお越しください。

台風接近に伴う今後の開催方針および追加情報は、日本ファイナンス学会ホームページで公表するとともに、E-mailでもご連絡します。

【受付について】

受付は、8号館8階 88-I・88-H会議室に設置します。

事前にメールでお送りした参加証を各自で印刷して持参される方は、通常の大会受付を省略できます。直接、セッション会場へお進みください。

参加証用のバッジホルダーは会場に用意しています。

なお、報告者・討論者・座長の方は、セッション内の参加可否確認等に関する別途の案内もあわせてご確認ください。

【その他の変更】

・懇親会は中止します。懇親会参加費をお支払い済みの方には払い戻しを行います。払い戻し方法については、後日ご連絡します。

・データチュートリアルセッションのうち、プレゼンテーションの部は中止します。【情報交換の部】は12:00～15:00に開催します。展示コーナーも開設します。

・会長講演は、2026年秋の研究報告大会に延期します。

・会員総会は、17:20–17:50に Room 8（8階記念ホール / 8F Kinen Hall）で行います。

今回、予定どおりの形式で日本ファイナンス学会第34回大会を開催できないことは大変残念ですが、安全を最優先として判断しました。

6月28日（日）に武蔵大学でお会いできることを楽しみにしております。

Dear participants,

This is Tomoki Kitamura of Musashi University, Chair of the Local Organizing Committee for the 34th Annual Conference of the Nippon Finance Association.

Due to the approaching typhoons, and in order to give priority to the safety of participants and conference staff, we have decided to modify the conference schedule as follows.

Sessions originally scheduled for Saturday, June 27, will be postponed to Sunday, June 28.

Together with the sessions originally scheduled for Sunday, June 28, the entire conference program will be held on Sunday, June 28, in a shortened format.

The venue will open at 11:00 on Sunday, June 28, and research sessions will start at 12:00.

Each presentation slot will be shortened to 30 minutes in total: 15 minutes for the presentation, 10 minutes for the discussant’s comments, and 5 minutes for Q&A.

Please refer to the attached “Typhoon Shortened Program for the 34th Annual Conference of the Nippon Finance Association” （PDF）for the revised program.

According to the current forecast, rain may remain on Sunday, June 28, but the direct impact of the typhoons is expected to gradually weaken. However, disruptions to public transportation may still occur, so please allow extra time when traveling to the venue.

Further updates on the conference operation policy will be announced on the Nippon Finance Association website and will also be sent by email.

[Registration]

The registration desk will be located in Rooms 88-I and 88-H on the 8th floor of Building 8.

Participants who print and bring the participant badge sent in advance by email may skip the regular registration desk and proceed directly to the session rooms.

Badge holders for the participant badges will be available at the venue.

Presenters, discussants, and session chairs are also asked to refer to the separate instructions regarding attendance confirmation within each session.

[Other changes]

•  The social reception/banquet will be cancelled. Reception fees already paid will be refunded. Details on the refund procedure will be announced later.

•  The presentation part of the Data Tutorial Session will be cancelled. The Information Exchange part will be held from 12:00 to 15:00. The exhibition area will also be open.

•  The Presidential Address will be postponed to the Fall 2026 Research Conference.

•  The General Assembly will be held from 17:20 to 17:50 in Room 8, 8F Kinen Hall.

We deeply regret that the 34th Annual Conference of the Nippon Finance Association cannot be held in the originally planned format. This decision has been made with safety as the highest priority.
